How it works

Open Ideas Competition
Submit your concept by September 25, 2026

Open call for concepts addressing one or more of the three corridors. Submissions are due September 25, 2026 · 11:59 PM EST, followed by technical review and jury intake (September 28 – October 20, 2026). Top 12 finalists announced October 29, 2026, final jury presentations November 12, 2026, winners announced December 4, 2026, and the online exhibition runs December 4, 2026 – February 12, 2027. Competitors are welcome to resubmit revised drafts before the deadline.

Six design priorities

All submissions are evaluated against these six priorities. Strong concepts will address several — not necessarily all — with conviction.
